Hawaiian Temple Bodywork & Flying Workshop provides students with the philosophical and practical foundations of Lomi Lomi Nui.
There are many schools and teachers of Hawaiian Temple Bodywork and this particular form was taught to me by a navigator Kahuna, keeper of the sacred information. The navigator Kahunas practice a form of flying modeled after the frigate bird and incorporating the Hawaiian martial and story telling arts.
Navigator Kahunas would perform these movements for hours before embarking on long sea voyages -- to awaken all their senses. Today we learn these movements to align our energies, to practice the art of Hawaiian Temple Bodywork, and to prepare ourselves to navigate though life.
